Chance The Rapper is having one hell of week, after a highly praised show at Terminal 5 in NYC with the likes Jay-z, Beyonce, Usher in attendance to debuting a new song on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert. Chance was in New York doing some press last week and he stopped by HOT.97 to interview with Ebro’s morning show, where he talked about fatherhood, tour, politics, Chicago and new music among other things. During this interview, Chance hinted that he is working on a special project with Stephen Colbert, so it is very befitting for him to be a musical guest on The Late show and debut some new music. I most admit I was waiting for Colbert to get up and rap, sing, or dance along with Chance, that would have been a HUGE moment but he didn’t. But Colbert did confirm that they are indeed working on something together and soon enough it will be revealed. They both are very excited and enthused about this project. The fun and up-tempo track has a strong progressive instrumental presence and it features fellow Chicago Native Saba who delivers a catchy and bubbly chorus on the song.
Watch Chance bust some dope moves as he debuts his new song ‘Angels’ alongside Saba and The Social Experiment below. The song is now available on iTunes for free and you can also stream it on Soundcloud and Spotify.
