I discovered Trapo and his music after I heard the song he did with Chicago artist XVRHLDY titled Monday. I was even more intrigued by him when I found out that he was a 17-yr old from Madison, Wisconsin (Midwest Stand UP!). Since then I have stayed updated with Trapo and his music and I was excited when he announced that he would be dropping his debut EP titled The Black Beverly Hills. The 9-track EP has two guest verses and they are from MN’s own Allan Kindgom and Max Wonders. I appreciate the fact that this EP isn’t packed with features and the features that made the cut sound organic and are well suited for the EP. I think Trapo is a great talent, this EP has quality production, content, subject matter and is well executed.
