Uptown Food Truck Festival: 50 Food Trucks/ Live Music / Craft Beer on Lake & Hennepin Ave, Minneapolis

One of the Twin Cities most popular & delicious free events – The Uptown Food Truck Festival – will invade Lake & Hennepin on Sunday, June 26th.
You’ll be able to sample food truck delicacies all day long, with hours from 11 a.m. – 8 p.m.
• More than 50 food trucks will be selling their unique street eats with global cuisines ranging from Indian to British to Japanese to locally grown pork. 50 food trucks will line up along Hennepin Avenue (south from Lake Street to 31st up Holmes Avenue.
$5 Pair Share: Each food truck will offer a signature dish at $5 to increase the epicurean opportunities for you and a friend.
Live music will add to the atmosphere and North Loop BrewCo., the official Uptown Food Truck Festival beer partner, will provide locally handcrafted beers. Other beverage options will also be available. The event is free, but a wristband is required for those who are indulging in the brews. Proceeds from all wristband sales will benefit Minnesota Internship Center, a public charter high school, helping low income and homeless teens complete their high school education.
For those wanting to get out of the sun and cool down, The Uptown Food Truck Festival has partnered with Calhoun Square, offering fair-goers an indoor respite before venturing back outside for one more.
