Record Store Day at Down In The Valley, Minneapolis

No other store celebrates Record Store Day quite like Down In The Valley – and this year they are celebrating both 10 years of Record Store Day and 45 years of Down In The Valley!
They have been selling new and used vinyl since 1972 and celebrating Record Store Day since the first year! For them it’s all about the records!
They’ve got all of the limited edition Record Store Day releases you are looking for – 300+ official releases plus all of the UK exclusive releases, unofficial releases, and exclusive 4/22 releases we could get our hands on. Lots of limited editions of all genres, many of which you won’t find at other shops in the metro area!
The flagship store in Golden Valley will be unveiling the newly renovated and expanded vinyl selection – They knocked down a wall and added a bunch more record racks – come see our new store addition plus enjoy coffee and Totally Baked Donuts in the morning and live music in-store from FLIPP at 8PM!
The Crystal location will have coffee and donuts from Totally Baked donuts and our Maple Grove location will have coffee and donuts from Donuts & Kaleidoscoops!
All three of the metro locations will open at 9AM on Record Store Day and will have 20% off all used media, an amazing selection of the limited RSD releases, and grab bags for all of the early birds (each grab bag is packed with vinyl, stickers, posters, and more goodies!). Plus in-store giveaways and prizes throughout the day!
They’ll also have limited edition Down In The Valley screen printed posters and t-shirts from local artist Erica Williams and their new shirt designs from local tattoo artist Dan Dittmer!
