ACEntertainment presents: For the Love, A Community Celebration

ACEntertainment is happy to once again offer the twelve-hour long, free festival on Saturday, July 11, 2015 from 2 PM to 2 AM.
This year, rain or shine, the festival will feature an outdoor stage on the steps of the North Plaza at the Union Depot. Along with 15 acts, this stage will also feature live graffiti painting by Homegrown MPLS and Rogue Citizen. St. Paul’s own Ashley DuBose will be headlining the Depot Stage.
To show love to the deejays, For the Love will feature 8 deejays spinning hour-long sets in Bedlam Theatre from 2 PM to 10 PM. Bedlam then turns into an 18 plus hotspot from 10 PM to 2 AM featuring 5 artists, including the return of Minneapolis’ legendary Kanser crew, who will be celebrating their 20th anniversary.
This year a special stage has been created with kids in mind. Black Dog Coffee and Wine Bar will host the Shorty Stage from 2 PM to 7 PM. The stage will showcase hour-long demo classes showing the art of the four elements of Hip Hop: emceeing, dancing, beatboxing and graffiti. The stage will feature the child-friendly and comically oriented Hip Hop headliner The Big EPIC Show. There will be a face-painter and caricature artist on site.
In 2014 For the Love focused on the talent of St. Paul artists. For 2015 the festival will show the strength of females in our community. For the Love is proud to announce that in addition to the 13 females performing there will be 20 female hosts introducing the acts.
