Sass
Born from the restless creative mind of local guitar sweetheart Stephanie Jo Murck. Having paid her dues, or shredded them to pieces, in groups such as Tony Peachka, Scrunchies and Tights she began Sass as an outlet for her own, very personal songwriting. Bolstered by an energetic band of recruited friends, she unleashes her demons alternately crooning and screaming over an esoteric mess of guitars and the soulful groove of a seasoned rhythm section. #6 in Citypages’ 2017 “Picked to Click” poll, Sass released EP ‘wet paint’ in 2017 (sassmpls.bandcamp.com) and looks forward to releasing their debut LP later this year.
