HEADLINING ACT:
Su Na: The Ableton gawd himself will be headlining the first-ever WAX event. His synth-heavy style that effortlessly blends hip-hop and R&B will bring a sound unlike anything you’ve ever heard before to the Kitty Cat Klub.
SUPPORTING ACT:
Left Life: This fast-rising Minnesota collective consisting of John Daniel, Widikus, OG Newport, Akru, Lasik, and DJ LVL is ready to put you on game. With witty bars and an unmistakable signature sound, you’ll be down with the Left Life squad as soon as the first song starts.
RESIDENT DJs:
BVCKWOODS: With an ear for dope new tracks and a knack for keeping the vibe wavy, DJ BVCKWOODS is guaranteed to put you on to something wavy that you haven’t heard before. Just make sure to give him credit.
Connye: A bright, upbeat vibe mixed with teetering wobbles make up Connye’s unique sound. He’s guaranteed to keep the vibe proper, and to keep your head nodding.
WAVES:
Improv wave: It wouldn’t be a WAX event without a very special set of R&B wavyness. What exactly is happening, you might ask? It’s a secret. You’ll just have to roll through and find out.
