Marsha Marsha!!! a.k.a Ms. Ambrosius if you nasty. Yes, if you don’t know Marsha then you have probably being living under a rock.. In fact I’m certain that you have been living under rock because this lady is a force to be reckoned within the music industry. A lite summary of Marsha Ambrosius: She was one half of the R&B Duo, Floetry who burst into the music scene back in ’02. I know that this song below was the jam. If you don’t know this song I’ll have a word with you at a later time.

Marsha is a Grammy Award nominated English R&B artist. She has worked and collaborated with the likes of Wale, Fabolous, Kanye West, Common, Big Sean, and the list goes on. She’s definitely a strong presence within the industry and I personally think that this album will solidify her stance even more. Marsha makes music for the grown and sexy on this album; the lyrics, beats, runs, harmonies and arrangements paint a very passionate, sexy, assertive, longing and sultry picture. I enjoyed every minute of it.
I listened to this album numerous times; after I listened to this album a few times I wanted to pop some popcorn because at this point the album had turned into a movie in my mind. Once you listen to the album, you will hear what I’m talking about. To me, each song is a scene in a movie about two people who blurred the lines between being friends and lovers. It’s a very relatable album because each song speaks to a different aspect and stage that occurs within a whirlwind relationship. If the kind of relationship Marsha sings about in this album is wrong, I don’t want to be right ;-).
If you can’t already tell from my explanation of this album, there is some amazing writing and producing on this album. The album also features prominent players in the game i.e Charlie Wilson a.k.a Uncle Charlie and Dr. Dre to name a few. Marsha did her good singing on this album and I didn’t expect any less from her. I really enjoyed this album and I will be adding some songs from this album to my grown and sexy playlist *wink wink*. You already know. This is a great body of work. In my opinion you would understand the album better if you listen to it at least once from top to bottom. I promise you won’t regret it.
