Chicago Rapper and Vocalist Dreezy is making this year count. Hailing from the southside of Chicago, Dreezy is beginning to gain more exposure on a national level; she signed to Interscope last year and has the respect and co-sign from her peers and pioneers in the rap game. Her new project, Call It What You Want, showcases the growth and refined sound in her music. It is a great transition from her highly praised debut mixtape Schizo. Some notable features on this 5-track project are: 808 Mafia, K Camp, and Teyana Taylor. Dreezy states that this project isn’t her official EP just some free music to hold her fans down in the mean time. The official EP is still on the way. Dreezy delivers a project with a diverse blend of sounds and genres ranging from R&B to hip-hop. She shows that she isn’t just your regular rapper, but a well rounded artist. That fact definitely shines through on this project.
