Minneapolis producer, rapper and vocalist Ness Nite has been making her presence known in the music scene this year and everyone is taking notice. At the top of the year, Ness was a finalist in the Are You Local? band contest. Her participation in this contest landed her an interview on GO. 96.3 with Barb Abney, she also got a few articles written about her and her music on Star Tribune, the publication that now organizes the contest. Since then, Ness has performed alongside many note-worthy locals act and was also one of the opening acts for LE1F‘s ‘Robot Boi‘ tour stop in Minneapolis at First Avenue – 7th Street Entry.
This song, ‘Yes’ is produced by Mike Frey & Ness as well and features Nick Jordan (2016’s Best R&B Artist via Citypages). It was originally released in January. A few days ago, Ness updated this track on her SoundCloud with a version she referred to as, ” The album version” of the song. That is when she shared that the video to this song would be released today and the video is indeed out right now. Ness has continued to make beautiful and magical music and has announced that she will be putting out a project in a few weeks (end of June/ beginning of July). This project is highly anticipated and long overdue, it will definitely be a MUST-LISTEN too project.
