Rhymesayers Entertainment and Rose Presents announce the 9th Annual Soundset Festival: your official Midwest kick-off of the summer, with over ten hours of the best Hip Hop music in one day. In 2015, Rhymesayers and Rose Presents produced the 8th year of Soundset at Canterbury Park in Shakopee, MN, which sold out in advance, with 30,000 people in attendance. The festival included four stages with more than 40 artists performing, B-Boy battles, live DJs, artists painting live, skateboard demos and a custom car show. This year’s 9th annual Soundset Festival returns back to the Twin Cities and is expected to be the biggest yet! This year, the lineup is larger than ever bringing in A$AP Rocky,Future, Common, The Roots, Anderson .Paak, Jay Rock and Mick Jenkins as well as plenty Rhymesayers signees and affiliates including Prof, Doomtree, MURS & 9th Wonder and, of course, Atmosphere. Also representing for the Mid-West are Lizzo, Finding Novyon, Baby Shel and Quincy James, Lexi Alijai, DJ Just Nine, DJ TIIIIIIIIIIIP, DJ Shannon Blowtorch, Noname Gypsy and much more.
