John Scott – Hour Glass EP [Premiere]

Texas native, John Scott is always on his A game when it comes to putting out quality music. Since his last EP (Heartbreak Hotel) premiered on the blog last year, Scott has produced songs for artist such as Finding Novyon (NO XANS) and done some amazing remixes to songs by Taku, Erykah Badu, and much more. Scott is still working for his full length EP ‘Where The Clocks Stood Still‘ which is still slated to be released later this year. He is making sure that it is a strong and wholesome project. He wants to do it right and continue to appease his supporters who expect only the best from him. He does not want to disappoint.

In the meantime, Scott has shared a new body of work titled ‘Hour Glass’. This 8-track EP is the official prelude to his forthcoming project to holdover his fans and supporters. Scott continues to hone on his ability to create limitless and genre-bending music and this EP is yet another example of that. It is well noted that Scott’s music is very heavily R&B/soul influenced, he always takes an intricate approach in his interpretation of that sound and type of music. This is one of the many reasons why Scott’s music is so refreshing to listen too.In addition to working on his full length project, Scott is also working on producing more music with Finding Novyonl X l V the Lily and a few others. It’s safe to say that Scott is just getting things started and 2016 will be a great year for him.
